How can I reserve a Vespa?
For departures from our Leuven location, you can easily reserve online. Choose your date, departure time, and return time, and see immediately how many scooters are available.

How do I know if there are still scooters available?
During the reservation process, you can see the availability for each day and time slot. We recommend booking early, especially on weekends and during holiday periods. Not sure? Contact us without obligation via the contact form on the website or by phone during opening hours.
Duration and times
How long can I rent a Vespa?
The minimum rental period is 4 hours. You can rent for a full day or multiple days. Check our reservation system for scooter availability.
Can I rent a Vespa at any time of the day?
Our standard departure times are between 9:00 and 17:00. Early or late departures are possible upon request. For this, it’s best to email info@scooterverhuurleuven.be
Cancel or modify
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before departure. For cancellations within 48 hours, 50% of the rental fee will be charged.
Can I modify my reservation?
Modifications are possible up to 24 hours before departure, depending on availability. Please contact us to make changes.
In case of heavy rain or thunderstorms, you can reschedule your booking free of charge, within a maximum period of 1 year.
Insurance and roadside assistance
Are the scooters insured?
Yes, each Vespa is covered by standard liability insurance. A deductible applies in case of damage.
What if I break down on the road?
In case of a breakdown, you can reach us 24/7 via the emergency number provided at departure. We will arrange assistance or a replacement as quickly as possible.
Driver’s license and age
Can I rent a Vespa without a driver’s license?
No, according to Belgian law, driving a motor vehicle without a valid license is prohibited. To rent a 50cc Vespa from us, you must have a valid AM, A, or B driver’s license.
What is the minimum age to rent a scooter?
The minimum age to rent and drive a scooter is 18 years. The minimum age for passengers is 14 years.
Scooters and equipment
What is included in the rental?
Each Vespa is rented with:
- 2 helmets
- A full tank of fuel
- A lock
- Route map or GPS option (on request)
Can I bring luggage?
There is limited space in the storage compartment. Bringing a backpack is recommended.
Departure and return
Where do I pick up and return the scooter?
If you have chosen to depart from Leuven, you pick up and return the scooters at our rental location: Wijgmaalsesteenweg 36E, 3012 Leuven.
If you have chosen delivery to a location, we will bring the scooters to the agreed-upon spot and pick them up from the same location.
Prices and payment
How much does it cost to rent a scooter?
Our rates start at €60 for a half day (4 hours). Check the prices in our booking system for more detailed options.
In addition to the rental price, a deposit of €250 is required when picking up the scooter. This will be refunded to your account after the scooter is returned.
Rain or thunderstorms
What if it rains heavily on the day of my booking?
You can reschedule your rental free of charge in case of rain, within a maximum period of 1 year.
