Along the route
Hop on your Vespa and discover the rolling Hageland, the region where cycling legend Eddy Merckx conquered his first climbs. The route takes you past charming villages and picturesque roads, surrounded by orchards that bathe in a sea of blossoms in spring.
Along the way, you’ll pass four unique blossom artworks, each telling the story of this fruit-growing region in a surprising way. Further on, elegant vineyards climb the hills, giving the landscape a Mediterranean touch.
Take the time to stop at Museum44 in Meensel-Kiezegem, where you’ll be immersed in the wartime history that shaped this village. Or pause at Fruitbedrijf Vanhellemont, where you can explore and taste local products in the charming shop.
