The Kruidtuin, Belgium’s oldest botanical garden, is perfect for a quick break while driving. Quiet, green, and compact, it’s the ideal spot to get out of the car for a moment. A little further on is Park Abbey in Heverlee. A beautiful site with ponds, walking trails, and historic buildings where you can truly unwind. For those who like to venture deeper into nature, the Heverlee Forest and Meerdaal Forest are highly recommended.
